Anxiety Disorder Management - The Four “M”s:

1. Movement

  1. Chemicals like endorphins and serotonin are released during exercise, reducing stress and improving a general sense of well-being.

  2. It can reduce stress and symptoms of mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety.

2. Mindfulness

  1. Relaxed mind is the key to reduced stress and anxiety.

  2. Raise your consciousness to embrace the reality of the situation and work towards handling it with positivity.

3. Mastery

  1. Develop a new hobby or skill.

  2. Pick up a sport or an instrument or join a reading club.

4. Meaningful engagement

  1. Volunteer for a charity that may resonate with you.

  2. Get involved in the community with shared beliefs, be it social or political.
